Madsbyparken is the heart of Fredericia's recreation area – a vibrant green space that brings together Madsby Legepark, The Historical Mini Town and Fredericia Sports Centre.

Madsby Legepark
Madsby Legepark is one of Denmark's largest and most popular free outdoor play parks. Located in the heart of Fredericia, it offers unforgettable experiences for the whole family – from friendly goats and a ride on the Madsby Train to exciting playgrounds, rowing boats on the lake and peaceful picnic areas.

The Historical Mini Town
The Historical Mini Town brings the market town of Fredericia to life as it appeared in 1849, with its distinctive straight streets, low-rise houses and impressive green ramparts.
The entire town has been faithfully recreated at a 1:10 scale, with every house, street, fortification and public space reproduced in remarkable detail to reflect the original town as accurately as possible.
Fredericia Sports Centre
Fredericia Sports Centre is one of Denmark's largest indoor sports and leisure facilities, bringing together sport, fitness and community under one roof.
The centre offers modern facilities for both recreational and elite sports, including a swimming pool, sports halls, a fully equipped fitness centre, and flexible meeting and conference facilities.

Your ticket for the Madsby Train also includes admission to The Historical Mini Town, so after your journey you can explore the miniature streets and discover a unique chapter of Fredericia's history.

Step back in time with The Virtual Mini Town, a unique and free AR experience at The Historical Mini Town in Fredericia. Using a specially designed viewing device, you can watch the miniature streets and buildings come to life as they appeared in 1849.

Tropical Water Park
Start your day at Madsby Legepark with free admission, where children can explore the playgrounds, meet the animals in the mini zoo and race around on mooncars before ending the day with a splash.
